Theme :

Working
with hands: thinking and doing
Hand
and mind working together.
Hand
and tool working together.
Tools
were created by man as an extension of the hand: ever more complex,
ever more precise, ever more efficient.
Watching
tools, taking them in the hand, trying them out, is the way the
apprentice learns from his master: skill is gained through experience.
Whatever
can you can do with your hands, even without a tool?
You can shake another hand.
You can open your hand to give or to receive.
With your hand, you can stroke something soft and pleasant.
With your hand, you can pick a flower or a fruit.
With your hand, you can sow next year harvest.
You can talk with your hands: gesturing, pointing out, and scolding
!
Hands,
mind, tools working together.
Handiwork "is the energy of our strength, of our skill, of
our patience, of our power of transformation. When transforming
material, we are changing ourselves".
